I was contacted by the owner of BTW Presents to create a gig poster for local act, "The Activators" near the start of 2024. Like my other projects, the brief was loose in what it wanted and best to go around creating the artwork. In essence, I had to figure out why they had specifically chosen me to create this and the general aura surrounding the band and their music.

I was heavily involved in physical media at this point, so I started there. I researched historical Ska advertisements and took the key elements from old posters. Checkers galore. This took me around 2 days to complete and the band loved it when shown. So much so, they took me on to design their upcoming album cover.
