I worked with local promoter, "Empty Rooms" on these designs, with no brief on either project. I ran with this freedom to the furthest it could take me.

Prioritising artwork over just solely being an advertisement let me push the boundaries on what makes a poster noticeable on our screens or on the street. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bloodworm poster, based off old Victorian medical programmes with figures of patients and their illnesses. Much like my other projects, this was designed digitally and then printed onto tea-stained paper for an authentic "old" result.

The "mouth" art was designed particularly for screen and social media, as I was informed they would not be printing posters for that event. With such a unique opportunity, I decided to create an animated piece, that capitalised the digital-only aspect. I filmed my own mouth, printed each frame, re-animated each frame (cut & glued onto the preceding frame) and scanned back in 60 or so final frames. Once put back together, I added the final text for each social format.
